The Tipperary Food Producers is a network of 32 food and beverage producers in the Tipperary area

In 2017 The Network wrote a children’s book “The Tipperary Food Tour” about food production in Tipperary and the importance of provenance and healthy eating.


Case Study

Create a plan to deliver an educational tour to 30 Primary Schools in Tipperary to promote and market “The Food Tour” book, with remaining schools in Tipperary receiving a copy of the book to use as part of their food education module.


Case Study

Originally the ask was to organise a bus or something similar to visit each school and incorporate a presentation on the book to children. However, at MPowered Collective we like to think outside the box. We counter offered this tender and suggested The Network invest in a Virtual Reality Tour instead and the same cost. Creating content that will live on past the tour and showing innovation. A VR tour will also be a fun and immersive way for children to learn about Food Production in Tipperary.


Case Study

Given the scale of this project MPowered Collective teamed with Creative Agency BabelfÍs to deliver. Babelfis are a collective of experts who work together to deliver large and small projects for clients all over Ireland. A unique offering based in Cork. This connection was invaluable as straight away MPC were able to work with talented graphic designers, web developers and printers.

We also connected with Fourth Reality a Virtual Reality and visualization company in Dublin to record and create the virtual reality videos. Fourth Reality have worked with brands like Harrods and Hamleys in the UK delivery VR brand experiences.

This project will be ongoing for Q3 and Q4 of 2019. To date MPC and Fourth Reality have completing filming. MPC and BabelfÍs have created the website and Google cardboard, and are working on the workbooks for schools.

Schools in Tipperary will be contacted in September and the tour will roll out later this year. Check back in for updates and results.
